I'd like to meet whoever invented the Compiler Warning. I'd punch him.
No individual has done more hidden harm to programming projects than the guy who created the compiler warning. Compiler Warnings are runtime errors that hide from you and laugh at you when you try to find the bug that's keeping your code from being shipped on time.
